Brown Rice Weight Loss Recipe | how to make delicious rice

Hi friends, my name is Anaya. Today, I will share with you all the recipes for brown rice pulao. It is very easy to prepare and has a good fiber content. At the same time, it is also great for weight loss. Ingredients For Brown Rice:

  • 1.5 cups brown rice (soaked for 30 minutes in 2 cups of water)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon jeera (cumin seeds)
  • 2 green chilies, freshly chopped
  • 1 cup fresh broccoli (chopped)
  • 1 cup red and yellow bell peppers (chopped)
  • 1 cup carrots (chopped)
  • 1 cup green peas
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
  • 3 cups water

Instructions:

Step 1: Brown Rice Pilaf Recipe Now here is what I have done I have soaked about one and a half cups of brown rice in two cups of water for about 30 minutes.

Step 2: Now in a pressure cooker I’m going to put a tablespoon of olive oil I’m going to add a teaspoon of cumin and it’s going to pop for at least 2 minutes then I’m going to add freshly chopped green chilies to it mix it all up. Okay, I’m going to add a whole cup of broccoli now this is very fresh broccoli along with it I’m going to add red and yellow chilies bell pepper chopped fresh red carrots about a cup then a cup of green peas so here we have added all the vegetables.

Step 3: In this, I will add salt, black pepper powder, and turmeric powder to taste. Along with this, I am also adding coriander powder. Mix all this well. You can add spices as per your choice, whichever suits you.

Step 4: In this, I will add soaked brown rice before that make sure to cook the rice well for at least two minutes and after that, I will add fresh coriander leaves for taste which is awesome for giving a good taste I am adding three cups of water mix well and let it cook for about three whistles.

Step 5: Don’t open it immediately after the whistles stop, let it cook in its own steam for about 2-3 minutes and when it is done, you can open it and you can see how well the brown rice pudding with all the greens and breaded vegetables will be prepared.
