Hi friends, my name is Anaya. Today, I will share with you Gujar Halwa. all a healthy fat-free dessert that is perfect for this Christmas season and requires very few ingredients, so it is very easy to prepare at home. For this, you do not need to go to the market to buy anything and it only takes 15-20 minutes to prepare this delicious dessert.
It is perfect for the winter season because it contains a lot of goodness and nutrients and it does not let your body crave sugar cravings because it is the winter season and Christmas. So, we do not want to crave any kind of dessert. So, we will prepare the most delicious, tasty, fat-free dessert very easily. So, without further ado, let’s get started.
Ingredients
- 1 cup grated carrots
- 1 cup low-fat or skim milk
- 1-2 cardamoms (or cardamom powder)
- 1 tsp ghee (clarified butter)
- 1-2 tablespoons jaggery (good)
- Chopped dry fruits (almonds, cashews, etc.)
The Instructions Gujar Halwa
The first thing I did here was put the grated carrots in a non-stick pan and dry them on low heat.
For this, we need a cup of low-fat or skim milk, good jaggery, and two cardamoms, which are good, or you can also use apache powder. Now, how do I roast carrots properly? I am adding a spoon of this iki. Not much, but it is very good for your body. It is very good for your joints, so don’t stop yourself from having this iki. It is great for your body, your skin, and your joints.
Adding milk and frying
Now I have added two alli cheeses to it. You can also use chia powder, and now I am adding 1 cup of low-fat milk. Let it dry. It will take about 15 minutes to dry properly, so keep it on low heat and let it dry. You can see it drying slowly here. It is all dry; there is no milk left in it. It took about 15 minutes.
Adding jaggery
Now we will add jaggery which is good. I have not added it in large quantities because carrots are quite sweet themselves, so a small amount of jaggery is enough. Jaggery is a great substitute for sugar in any kind of dish or dessert as it is very low in calories and is nutritious and full of goodness. So try adding jaggery to whatever you want to replace sugar with.
Adding Dry Fruits
Now to this, we will add chopped dry fruits. Here I have used only almonds and nothing else, so you can add any kind of dry fruits. If you really want to add them or keep it simple, you can also add a cashew nut or two. Add chopped dry fruits and mix well. Now do not overcook it.
Final product: Gujar ka halwa
And there, delicious Gujar ka halwa is prepared. It is very low in calories, does not contain any bad ingredients (for example sugar or anything like that), and it is better to have it as your dessert this Christmas season. So do it without any grudge, without any guilt. It will also cure all your sugar cravings and you will love it. Prepare it at home and let me know how it turns out.
